Funky Pumpers was created in 2011 by Sabrina Dawe, with the aim of providing fun, practical and affordable pump pouches. Since then the company has grown and developed. Funky Pumpers are delighted to now offer a full range of products for adults and children with Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, Mody, Lada, Gestational Diabetes etc.

Funky Pumpers is now owned and run by Debbie Jones and Mike O’Brien. Debbie’s son, AJ, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 14. Debbie had to battle with her hospital and PCT to get AJ an insulin pump. She finally achieved this with the help of INPUT  in 2011. AJ has been pumping with the Roche Accu Chek pump since he was 20 years old. AJ also uses the Dexcom G4 CGM, which Debbie has to self fund.

Funky Pumpers aim isn’t just to provide a range and choice of products. Funky Pumpers also support JDRF in their mission to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. With this in mind, and among other donations and fund raising that we carry out, we will make a donation to JDRF on every pump pouch that is purchased through our web site.

Funky Pumpers has become the UK’s leading pump pouch and Lycra waistband supplier. We wish to continue to be your first choice when looking for new products. We therefore change our range of pouches, bands and other products on a regular basis, in the hope that there is always something new and exciting for you or your child.

We have scoured the market place and partnered many well-known manufacturers and distributors, so we can offer you products such as SPI Belts, Jelly Belly beans, Gluco Tabs, Med Pacs, Aquapacs and Frio Cooling Wallets. We also have seamstresses’ and designers working on an ever changing range of pump pouches, lycra pump bands and meter cases, these are designed exclusively for Funky Pumpers. Our large selection of awareness products includes silicone wristbands, medical ID jewelry and stickers.
